3 _ Webseed Files Format

The Webseed files are made of four files as showed below:
1_ The .seed format holds the geometry of the scene.
2_ The .seed.tex format holds the materials of the scene.
3_ The .seed.action format holds the interaction configuration.
4_ The .seed.2D format holds the applet layout (images, buttons...).

If you move a scene, make sure that you copy the four extensions.

You will find Webseed projects in the attached folder "SeedLibrary".

4 _ User Interface

In Webseed, you can modify:
1_ The position and the opening of the dialogue boxes.
2_ The colors of the docks, of the dialogue boxes and the buttons.

1_ The dialogue boxes.

Webseed has two docks (one on the left and one on the right of the 3D window) on which the dialogue boxes can be attached.
The dialogue boxes open and close using the triangular icon found on the left of their title bar.
The dialogue boxes can be taken out of the docks using a drag and drop on the title bar.
On the extracted dialogue boxes, the closing icon on the right (arrow) is activated. By clicking on that icon, you make the box go back automatically to its original dock.
Once a box is detached, the boxes can be reattached either on the left or on the right using the drag and drop technique.

You can save the location of the your dialogue boxes whenever you want.
Go into Window>
Save Interface Organisation allows you to replace the default configuration (default.xml).
Save as allows you to save a new interface configuration.
Load Interface Organisation allows you to load an interface configuration.
Default Interface Organisation reloads the default configuration folder (default.xml).

2_ Color UI

Webseed contains a configurator to change the colors of the docks, of the dialogue boxes, and of the buttons.
Go into Window > Customize Interface Colors.
The window that opens holds all the color boxes to modify the shadings of the buttons (standard, new, delete, load, and save), the frame colors, the nets of the dialogue boxes, and finally the frame of the docks.
Once a new set of colors has been put in place, you can test it with Apply.

You can save your colors in Window > Save Interface Colors.
You can also save a new interface colors in Window > Save as...
You can recall your colors in Window>Load.
You can recuperate the default colors in Window>Default.
