:: Webseed Studio 3D integrates a very powerful merge tool .
It allows you to import into your scene 3D objects, 2D images and actions.
In this case you can choose to update objects or components already present in your projects or to integrate new ones that did not exist originally.
In an advanced situation, you can share , in a fast and flexible way, interfaces or interactivity between several Webseed Studio projects, you can modify or add 3D objects in your projects and complement your view angles with the importartion of new cameras.
The possibilities of exchange that Merge Wizard will give you are numerous and will provide you with a considerable gain in productivity.
:: The Merge Wizard tool is organized into two exploration windows. On the left the project to be merged, on the right, the project on which you are currently working.
The projects are represented in parallel, organized into 3 categories: 3D, 2D and actions; these categories correspond to the different phases of the design of a Webseed Studio real-time 3D presentation .
:: The 3D category contains 4 sub-categories: Dummies (null objects), 3D Objects (geometry), Cameras and Animations
:: The 2D category contains 2 sub-categories: Image Components and buttons

:: The Actions category contains all actions created in the project

:: To transfer objects from the left to your current project on the right, click transfer.
The transfer button in the category transfers all the objects contained in the category. To select objects individually, click on the button next to each object.
You have the possibility to transfer several objects at once thanks to multiselection.
You can select multiple objects with CTRL and SHIFT, respectively for a non-consecutive multiselection and for the selection a sequence of objects in the list.
Then you can simply click transfer of one of the selected objects.

The group of objects transfer applies to categories and sub categories. This means that if you click on the 2D category transfer button, you will transfer all Images and Buttons objects contained in the list; if you click the Images Transfer button, you will transfer all the Images objects in the list...
Once an object has been transferred in the current project, you see that the button transfer is reversed .
By clicking it again, you send the object back into the left window and the object will no longer be imported into the scene. The multiselection and transfer of categories and sub categories also work in this way.

::
Below you can see the two cameras in the Camera category . The empty right side means that you have not transferred any camera into the current scene.
Note that the transfer button is red lin the category and next to "Default Camera." The red button will alert you on the presence of a name conflict between the two projects in the camera category with the camera named "DefaultCamera." Indeed, the two projects contain a camera named "DefaultCamera." If you ignore this conflict and click transfer, the current camera will be replaced by the new camera. This option is very useful to update a 3D object by replacing it in the current scene with a new 3D version
If you do not want to overwrite the object as you import it, activate the Autorename or automatic renaming button . In this case, the new transferred object will be renamed which will then cause the conflict to disappear.

:: When you are satisfied with the merger configuration , click OK at the bottom of the window. A calculation window opens, asking you to wait while Webseed Studio merges the new objects in your project.
